Have you ever performed updates to WordPress core or a plugin that caused something to visually change on our website and not been aware of it until it was brought to your attention by a client or potential customer?

This won’t happen when your website is under our care.

When visually validating any update made to your website, the following happens:

1. A screenshot is capture on up to 20 pages of your site
2. Updates are applied
3. New screenshots are captured and compares them to see if anything looks different
4. If changes are detected, our engineers are alerted and will resolve the issue

Since every website is unique, within your Maintenance Dashboard, you will have the ability to customize which 20 pages are compared during this process.

You bet! You signed up with us so you don’t have to worry about these things, right?

If something breaks, we’ll investigate further and possibly resort to restoring to a previous version of that plugin or WordPres core before the issue was introduced.

That said, sometimes issues are introduced by another person working on your site. In such a case, unless they are able to provide details on exactly what they did to cause the issue, it’s sometimes really hard to pinpoint what happened.

Additionally, some plugins and themes become abandoned and the developers no longer maintain the code or keep them up-to-date. Since updates are no longer being provided, these plugins and themes could potentially cause conflicts with other plugins and/or themes on your website. If this happens, we can’t fix code within those plugins or themes and will suggest removing them from your website and finding a replacement.

When a hack is detected by our scanners, our team will be notified and we’ll immediately start sniffing out the hack and removing any malware from your site. Details of the found vulnerability will also be located in your Maintenance Dashboard under the security scans tab so you’re never in the dark.

Yes! You can sign on to any of our coverage plans and we’ll happily scan and remediate any malware found once we onboard your website.

Once your website has been verified clean, we can then optionally migrate your website to our managed WordPress hosting platform for even deeper security to ensure we keep future risk at bay.

When you choose our Team Coverage plan, our team of experts around the world are standing by ready to help you, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

You get unlimited 30-minute tasks on the coverd website. While tasks are limited to 30-minutes, there is no limit on how many requests you can submit.

With the Select (1 edit) and Team (unlimited edits) Coverage, you can throw anything our way that takes 30-minutes or less and can be handled within the admin panel of your WordPress site.

Here are some examples of what you could have us do for you:

Content Edits:

• Publishing blog posts and new pages from provided documents
• Adding, removing or editing text on posts, pages, products, etc.
• Uploading a provided image and adding it to a page
• Cropping or resizing images within the WordPress dashboard
• Adding keywords, titles, snippets, etc. to your SEO plugin
• Modifying menu items
• Configuring pop ups, notification bars or slid-in features based on provided text, images and examples
• Create image galleries
• Edit page URLs
• Add, remove or edit users
• Upload PDF documents
• Adjust widgets

Settings Adjustments:

• Update theme options
• Add redirects
• Add, remove, or edit form fields
• Edit templates made from visual editors such as Beaver Builder, Elementor, or Divi
• Install and configure plugins

Other In-Scope Requests:

• Custom CSS / JS
• Perform search and replaces
• Adding code snippets utilizing WordPress hooks
• Performance related adjustments based on GT Metrix reports
• Minor troubleshooting involving plugin and theme compatibility issues
• Installing tracking codes (i.e. Google Analytics)
• Testing contact forms and checkout workflows

Similarly, here are a few examples of things NOT covered by our Team Coverage:

• Graphic design changes (things like creating graphics or editing images beyond simple resizing or cropping)
• SEO or Analytics strategy, review or consulting
• Writing or providing copy for posts, pages, products, etc.
• Host-related optimization
• Purchasing plugins, license keys, or extensions
• Build-outs and plugin or theme development, including the build-out of new major functionality on an existing site (i.e. setting up an online store, rebuilding existing content through a different page builder, or custom coding a new plugin to provide new functionality)
• Interacting with third-party vendors, including the website hosting provider, email providers, a plugin or theme’s support team, etc.

In the end, you can always ask. No matter the request, we’ll help point you in the right direction!

We wanted to be sure all of our clients, even those on the Base and Select Coverage plans, had someone they could look to for help if needed.

With our these plans, you’ll be able to send 1 – 2 basic questions to us via email every month. Inquiries could be about a plugin you’re considering installing or an error you keep seeing. Anything you might have a question or concern with, we’re happy to review and provide the best answer for your situation.

To note, guidance and advice support is not available 24/7 and does not include research, troubleshooting or site edits or changes.

In short, no.

If we feel a request, question or otherwise requires a phone call, we will request you schedule a call with us.

The reason for this is due to our time being strategically scheduled for the tasks at hand everyday. Taking care of dozens of websites, responding to dozens of requests each day, and keeping our servers finely tuned takes some serious focus. Being interrupted by phone calls would cause our response times to increase dramatically, maintenance tasks would get forgotten in the dust, and our servers would crawl to a halt. Okay, the results probably wouldn’t be that dramatic, but the point is, we need to stay focused.

Each plan covers one website. If you have more than one website, you will need to add a plan for each website you need support with.

If you have 3 or more websites on a plan, we can provide a 10% discount.

Absolutely.

If your tail is not wagging 100 mph because you are not happy with the service we are providing you, we don’t want you to be forced to stick around. We hope you will reach out and express your frustration, concerns or issues first so we can try to fix it and make it right, but you are welcome to cancel your subscription at any time.
